A Six Core Laptop with 4TB of Storage


According to PC World, Canadian PC maker is offering a laptop with a massive 4TB of storage and Intel's fastest six-core processor, a rare combination of such high-end parts for a portable computer.
The Panther 2.0 is designed to be a workstation replacement for running high-end graphics and CAD (computer-aided design) programs, PC maker Eurocom said on its website, where it has started taking preorders for the machine.

Nintendo 3DS Model


Nintendo 3DS an upcoming handheld game console after DSi by Nintendo company. The new console can produce 3D effects without the use of any special glasses likely on movies in 3D. The Nintendo 3DS is based on a custom Pica200 graphics processor from a Japanese start-up Digital Media Professionals (DMP). It has two screens; the top screen is a 3.53-inch 5:3 3D screen with a resolution of 800×240 pixels (400×240 pixels per eye, WQVGA) that is able to produce a stereoscopic three-dimensional effect without 3D glasses, while the bottom screen is a 3.02-inch 4:3 non-3D touch panel with a resolution of 320×240 pixels (QVGA). The 3DS weighs approximately 8 oz. and, when closed, is 5.3 inches wide, 2.9 inches broad, and 0.8 inches tall. The system features several additions to the design of the original DS, including a slider on the side of the device that adjusts the intensity of the 3D effect, a round nub analog input called the "Slide Pad", an accelerometer, and a gyroscope. In addition, there is an infra-red communicator port situated on the top of the unit.

Smallest and lightest


Sony has announced the release of three new models of camcorders that are smaller, lighter and smarter compared to the former stars of Sony. The HDR-CX model, Sony’s first flash-based HD camcorder. Sony proclaims this model as “the smallest and lightest AVCHD HD camcorder” available now on the market. It can record up to 30 minutes of high quality 1080i video on its 4 GB Pro Duo Memory Stick. You can buy it for 1200$, which is a definite competitor price for Panasonic and their line of HDC cameras.

The other models Sony released are SR5 and SR7. Both cameras provide with a 2.7 inch LCD screen on which you can admire the videos you are taking. You can also look at a thing from a closer angle from now on, thanks to their 10x optical zoom. The SR5 has memory of 40 GB and can shoot up to five hours of 1080i HD AVCHD video. In this chapter, the SR7 gives it a lesson with its 60 GB of internal memory and the ability of shooting up to 14 hours of 1080i video. You can buy the SR5 model for 1100$ and the SR& for 1400$.

New touch-screen smartphone unveiled


RIM is widely expected to unveil a new touch-screen smartphone with a pull-out keyboard at a corporate event on Tuesday. The device is likely the much-hyped BlackBerry Slider 9800, leaked images of which have flooded the Internet over the past several weeks. RIM might also unveil its new smartphone operating system, BlackBerry OS 6, which will give RIM devices a Web browser and a home screen that mirrors those of the iPhone and Google's Android-based smartphones. At first glance, it seems that RIM doesn't need a shot in the arm from a sexy new device and operating system. BlackBerry phones have a commanding lead in the smartphone market, making up 41.7% of smartphone subscriptions, according to comScore.

Apple and Google have bested RIM's devices in terms of ease of use, availability of third-party applications, touch-screen technology and Web browsing capabilities -- to name just a few critical smartphone components. IPhones and Android phones are simply cooler than the assortment of BlackBerry phones.

A new rival tablet in November


Research in Motion, the maker of BlackBerry smartphones will introduce a tablet computer in November to compete with Apple Inc's iPad, according to Bloomberg News. Although there are rumours the company has established “BlackPad” domain name, there are still no precise details about the product itself.
Bloomberg report stated that the device from RIM will have 9.7” screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other features natural to slates. A surprise is that the report claims that in order to connect to the Internet the BlackPad will require a BlackBerry device.
The Blackpad is expected to have about the same dimensions as the iPad and cost about as much as the $499-plus Apple tablet, the report said.
Apple's iPad much popular and widely-used nowadays competition in tablet industry getting crowded when Microsoft may also  launch into the same market.
